Would not this response be similar to the one acheived by the " every other day " feeding (with no restriction) we saw previously. I think it was in the 3 meal/1 meal where both groups took in similar calories, protocol. Maybe there is additional benefit to CR in giving the body occasional time periods where no food is consumed, even if the % CR is minimal.
