Guest guest
Jeff, That was an informative presentation with good guidelines for evaluating nutritional content of packaged foods. The sodium guideline is good, but I have found that to avoid cramps, I need extra salt on hot days when I do physical work and sweat a lot. I am sure that some people in the audience were shocked to find out that a lot of packaged " health food " is not so healthy. On a recent visit to Whole Foods, I noticed some chocolates that had " copra oil " . Most people don't know that this is just coconut oil. The cat-and-mouse game between manufacturers and consumers goes on.
