Although here it is not called IHSS, the same services are covered by the

Home Services Program provided by the Office of Rehab Services. My current

care plan is classified under what they call an " exceptional care plan, " and

I receive 450 PA hours a month. It is my understanding that in order to

qualify for more, I would have to be vented at least on a part-time basis.

It wasn't easy to get the amount of hours, but I'll be happy to help anyone

who may need it.
