Ditto for me too. I was so nervous but after finally taking the plunge, I

could've kicked myself for waiting so long. My sight was so bad that I could

see only moving colored blobs w/o my glasses or contacts, but immediately after

(as in sitting up on the table), I could read the time on the clock clearly

across the room. The next morning at the checkup, I had 20/20 in one eye and

20/15 in the other. Four and a half years later, I still have perfect vision.

All I can say is that for me, lasik rocked. :-)
