Guest guest
hi.. thanks in advance for reading and any helpful responses you give. I have been using the Cron-O-Meter for a few weeks now, and it took me until yesterday to eat 90% of my recommended calorie intake. I have been telling myself I am eating enough for years, when in reality I have been eating about 1/4 of what I should... at best. I am ready to admit this (not to family members or the general public)... but I have told 1 close friend and she is helping me to learn to eat more) and I have started the fight to be healthy. it is very difficult to eat what feels like vast amounts of food to me, but I have noticed several positive things happening since I have been eating more. things like: better concentration, feeling weak or faint less often, and feeling panicked or confused less often. my question is: is there a different group I can go to (as well as coming here) for former anorexic support? I have belonged to a few anorexia " support " groups online over the years, and when they started telling me that CRON was a bad idea, I stopped visiting them. I am no longer a member of these, but I DO want to get support from people who love CRON and focus on the nutrition and making sure to get the right quality as well as quantity of nourishment. any advice would be much appreciated! I had to make this post today. I have been putting it off, but today I had a day (not the first time, but the worst) where I kept thinking " This is SOO WRONG! I shouldn't be eating so much! Maybe the cron-o-meter is wrong!? " so I only got in 27% of my calories. By the way, I am 19 years old. Mel
Guest guest
Mel: If you are anorexic, and from what you write, you need much more serious help than any online group can give you. Please see a doctor immediately. You need immediate medical attention. This is a serious disorder that can mean the difference between life and death.
