I have eaten a lot of potatoes lately and I can attribute my loss of

weight to eating potatoes and some greens. Those purple okinawan sweet

potatoes are great. Thanks for the tips on finding them. I also

wonder about the comments related to rice. My body and the doctor

seems to be fine with what I am doing. But, I have pretty much cut out

meat and dairy. labs protein works pretty well too. Are we sure

it isn't a lot of the other processed stuff people are eating that

maybe causing the problems. I don't know if I can give up potatoes and

beans and salsa. Two years ago I was 164 lbs. and today I am 144. I

also eat rice. Sheesh...I always feel conflicted with all the info.

You mention having to give up beans & salsa? Beans & salsa are low

glycemic index, certainly not high GI.
