Did she author this book? I thought it was put together by the

committee and then edited by Dr. Lord and McGee. I know some

of her papers are listed as resources, but thought this book overall

was done by the input from the committee.

I'm curious because we work with Dr. Lord who does our educational

evaluations for our son annually and am curious.

Too we have utilized this book as well with educators when seeking

inclusive services for our son in general education. It does

support many things we've been trying to achieve for our son.

I have no knowledge of Filipek however, and have never seen her

present. But I have seen Dr. Baumann, Dr. Buie, and a couple of

other speakers and think this conference could benefit folks for a

couple of reasons. It does seem to be more researched based rather

than for practical application for folks.

I would think a DAN conference however for someone would be a better

option. But I've attended these types of conferences as well to see

what is being presented, how, and why.

Best,

Carolyn
