Guest guest
Hi folks: Dr. Cannell, founder of the 'Vitamin D Council', who previously raised the issue of a possible relationship between vitamin D sufficiency and defense against influenza, has a new hypothesis. This one is a possible connection between vitamin D deficiency and autism. He is speculating that the emergence of the recent upsurge in cases of autism starting around the same time as the 'don't go in the sun' health scare, may possibly not be coincidental. ***IF*** he turns out to be right, then this has considerable significance for anyone pregnant or with young children. http://www.vitamindcouncil.com/health/autism/ Of course this remains to be demonstrated.
