This has been well discussed. If you get vit D from sunlight it is difficult to get too much, your body will self regulate using several mechanisms. If you live so far north that you can't spend time outdoors, and can't afford a few midwinter vacations to Florida, then supplement, but keep in mind Vit D is fat soluble so stored by the body to cover periods without sun exposure, while I am sure we evolved under far more sunlight exposure than we currently enjoy. I am not a fan of maxing out good or zeroing out bad stuff.. We don't really know what we're doing in this nutrition optimization game. BTW, that fasting bit 69 hours over the weekend and 45 hours twice a

week implies very little eating on a human level? Help me here.
