Interview request from KQED Public Television

Dear members,

I’m writing to you from the public television station

KQED in San Francisco, where we are doing a show on

aging, longevity and calorie restriction for our local

science series Quest (http://www.kqed.org/quest). As

I’m sure you know, we have many scientists in the Bay

Area researching CR, including Kenyon at UC

San Francisco, Marc Hellerstein and Bruce Ames at UC

Berkeley, and Pankaj Kapahi at the Buck Institute. But

in addition to interviewing these researchers, we

would like to talk to people who are already reducing

their calories to live healthier and longer. I suspect

there are many people trying CR in the Bay Area,

possibly some who are even members of your group. If

you are live in Northern California or know someone

else doing calorie restriction here, we would be very

interested into talking to you for our show.
