Regarding, You On a Diet, Part 2 appeared on Oprah yesterday. The writers of the book advocate a low calorie diet and acknowledge that CR is the only proven method of life extension. They also discuss the importance of eating whole foods and lightly processed foods. I read the article in O magazine which provides a two weeks blueprint to a healthier life.
