Guest guest
Anybody hear about this or better yet see this? More propaganda from the AAP? " Straight forward language, Sound medicine, common sense advice... Yeah sounds like some serious bull. New Booklet: Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders The American Academy of Pediatrics offers a new 44-page booklet, Understanding Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) that is written in straightforward language and based on sound medicine and commonsense advice from the nation's top pediatricians. This booklet was developed for families of children suspected of or already diagnosed with a condition on the autism spectrum. It provides introductory information, associated issues, management strategies, family and community supports, and issues on adolescence and adulthood. Booklets can be purchased from the AAP on-line bookstore at www.aap.org/bookstore and are sold individually or in packs of 10 for $35. Guest guest
Oh, yes I saw it. I even got to meet the man, Dr. Alan Rosenblatt, who wrote it. He spoke at a local ASA chapter meeting in Illinois last month. Dr. Rosenblatt and his manual are a joke. When I asked him why the AAP was actively fighting legislation to ban mercury (and I even named the AAP employee whose job it is to help the state AAP chapters fight thimerosal bans), he turned white as a ghost, wouldn't answer the question, and changed the subject. > > Anybody hear about this or better yet see this? > > > More propaganda from the AAP?
