Guest guest
Good idea Bobbie! I just did, after watching. DK did a great job, making really strong points, especially in the short time given! The AAP comment at the end was bizarre, re: MMR safety. Reminds me of kids taking a test..when they can't answer, they go to a related topic to throw you off the original question in hopes that they will get " partial credit " ...I'd give AAP an " F " on their not even close response..or an " A " on diabolical manipulation :}~ > > In anticipation of the autism segment on Scarborough Country tonight, > I wanted to suggest that parents prepare an email to send as soon as > the show ends tonight. > > Thank Joe for the attention to this subject. Guest guest
We recorded the segment last night. FAIR may post this segment on its website, along with tonight's Shoemaker story, soon. http://www.autismmedia.org/ > > > > In anticipation of the autism segment on Scarborough Country > tonight, > > I wanted to suggest that parents prepare an email to send as soon > as > > the show ends tonight. > > > > Thank Joe for the attention to this subject. Guest guest
I noticed that too. Only, it won't work. We'll never shut up about it...and we're not going away. > > > > > > In anticipation of the autism segment on Scarborough Country > > tonight, > > > I wanted to suggest that parents prepare an email to send as soon > > as > > > the show ends tonight. > > > > > > Thank Joe for the attention to this subject. Guest guest
That MMR quote at the end made no sense... Even my husband who doesn't follow much of this stuff caught on to their failure to address the issue in question (thimerosal/mercury). What's the deal? 1) Scarborough didn't put their entire quote up? 2) Misdirecting people 3) They can't get caught in a lie after the fact? 4) Maybe they (AAP) are too stupid to know that the MMR isn't chock full of thimerosal? (I'm sort of kidding here, but who knows)? Strange. I meant the MMR is an issue as well of course but the interview with Kirby was about mercury... - Sue M. > > > > In anticipation of the autism segment on Scarborough Country > tonight, > > I wanted to suggest that parents prepare an email to send as soon > as > > the show ends tonight. > > > > Thank Joe for the attention to this subject. Guest guest
Just my two cents but...Did anyone notice the look on Joe Scarboroughs face when the segment ended? In my opinion it was one of disgust. Meaning there was a whole lot more he would have liked to have said and heard form Kirby. Would Love to see him have kenedy on again. especially after the piece he just wrote about the CDC coming clean. Guess Imus is at it again. Gotta love the guy. Guest guest
They also had all of EIGHT minutes to cover this HUGE topic. But at least they referenced the book for folks to learn more about it. It was shotty editing at that. > Re: Re: Scarborough Country > > > In >
Guest guest
Wouldn't it be great if we had a national news station that wanted to tell the truth, and was not censored.
