Guest guest
I have used Lincare for many of my patients traveling outside the Houston area (and in Houston as well) and they have been quite dependable. I think they are in your area. Good luck. Lori Need N. California Referral - Respiratory Equipment Vendor Hi Folks, I'm looking for referrals to a good respiratory equipment vendor. I was very frustrated by Apria, found Quest to me completely unreliable, and Timberlake doesn't provide the machines I use. I use a Respionics PLV 102b during the day on my chair and am willing to switch the type and/or brand, and at night I use a Respironics NEV - 100. I have excellent employer-sponsored health insurance. Do you have any recommendations? Thank you! Guest guest
Alana, Since you use Respironics equipment why don't you just have them deliver it to you. Right now I'm approved for 3 vents (the PLV-100) and they can have one here in 6 to 24 hours by Fed-Ex or sometimes even Greyhound Bus. I get the circuits and other things from Northwest Medical out of Portland OR but the 2 companies work closely together. I can call them 24/7 or email during business hours and get a response within 15 minutes. As you know I live in Southwest Oregon. Just a few hours drive from you. Guest guest
Hi Alana, I had problems with Apria too--they stopped covering all people on Medi-Cal so I was forced to find another vendor which took several months. I'm now with Pacific Pulmonary Services. Here's the link: http://www.ppsc.com/Html/patient.care.services.html Alice ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Guest guest
Yes, I've talked to a lot also. I like being able to communicate with them by email. I always get an answer within a few minutes from or .if it is business hours. And they do have someone to answer the phone 24/7. I'm glad you found a vendor you are comfortable with.
