Guest guest
I'm trying really hard right now to give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe she has an appointment for her son that she's been trying to get for months, maybe there is some personal issue that is preventing her from making it. I'm trying really hard not to believe she's wussing out because she doesn't have the guts to stand up and speak what needs to be spoken. I think her little group is not nearly so important to show support for than support for the truth, sad that she's missing the mark -- again. Debi > > FYI: Statement of support for Autism Speaks. Guest guest
The family is already part of the solution, and they are likely to be a larger part of the solution in the future. I think we should save our criticism for those who are part of the problem. > > > > FYI: Statement of support for Autism Speaks. Guest guest
The bill has been endorsed by every major autism organization in America (no mean feat in itself) and is being championed - in person and on The Hill - by such influential citizens as NBC President Bob and his wife Suzanne, founders of Autism Speaks, and Deirdre Imus, a leading fighter for the environmental health of all children and wife of the sharp-tongued host of the morning airwaves. - from 's post, thanks . > > > > > > FYI: Statement of support for Autism Speaks. Guest guest
I don't know why this surprises anyone really. Remember who her daddy is and what he represents. Has anyone seen a decrease in the number of drug cartel ads on NBC? No and you want to know why, because "daddy dearest" knows who butters his bread. Again it comes down to money. He's got enough to heal his grandson so the rest of us are f***ed!! No surprise there. Daddy tells don't go to DC or I won't pay for his therapies anymore. doesn't dare make daddy mad!! And as usual the rest of us are screwed over. Big surprise there. Someone, somewhere, someday is going to deliver their own justice on these drug cartels, the politicans that protect them and those that take their money. Judas' everyone! May they rot in hell for their indifference!! DEB _________________________________________________________________ > >> > FYI: Statement of support for Autism Speaks. Guest guest
Further more it makes me want to retch when you see people like Dan Olmsted and Kirby who have no personal stake in all this more concerned about our kids than those who have children that are poisoned. Again may the Judas' all rot in the bowels of hell!!! DEB > > > > > > FYI: Statement of support for Autism Speaks. Guest guest
I agree. They are not the enemy. Many influences are bringing thimerosal out into the light of day (hallelujah) and the biggest one is the science and all the movers and shakers getting it out there: With Kirby,RFK, Jr., Lieberman, the Imus Bickersons , Burton, Weldon, Maloney, Scarborough, etc...the s are in their too. Then we have Safeminds, NAA, A-Champ, Generation Rescue, No Mercury, and so many others... And of course all the research...amazing in the last 18 months! We've come a long way baby! > > > > > > > > FYI: Statement of support for Autism Speaks. And your evidence for that would be. . . their marriage to NAAR? I do wish your take on this would be true, . has let the cat of the bag " that thimerosal contributed to [her son's] illness, and recent progress he has made using state-of-the-art biomedical interventions. Ms. will also discuss her dismay at the American Academy of Pediatrics. . . " Her last statement retracts none of this, and so raises more questions I would hope attentive journalists would start asking. The fact is that while there is not sufficient evidence to satisfy status-quo vested scientists and bureaucrats, there is enough to prove to the public that mercury in vaccines, promoted by the CDC, causes autism, and subsequently, the epidemic. Iron clad proof of causation is not necessary, and often impossible in a court of law or in the court of public opinion. Autism Speaks can not speak for us if they cower and back peddle from the truth. To know the cause of autism and yet remain silent while more children become afflicted by the minute is immoral. It is now time for Autism Speaks to speak up and let the chips fall where they should. It's now or never. Would only it had been that someone spoke up with the truth before my son was injured. . . . This sound of silence is the reason we are all here. Guest guest
Lenny, I kind of agree with on this too. I don't know the " why " of the cancellation but for us, waiting YEARS to have the guilty parties exposed and research/treatments for our kids, we are impatient. It just seems odd and there feels like there is more to come. I don't think is going to reverse her stance. But for all of us, we have been burned in the past and trust is an issue. Let's see if hope springs eternal. > > > > The family is already part of the solution, and they are > > likely to be a larger part of the solution in the future. > > And your evidence for that would be. . . their marriage to NAAR? > > I do wish your take on this would be true, . has > let the cat of the bag " that thimerosal contributed to [her son's] > illness, and recent progress he has made using state-of-the-art > biomedical interventions. Guest guest
I would have preferred had appeared and made the strong statement that "thimerosal contributed to her son's illness and the recent progress he has made using state-of-the-art biomedical interentions" and "her dismay at the American Academy of Pediatrics'. However, it is up to , a mom struggling to find the cause and cure for her child's autism, to decide whether or not she wants to appear and speak. Lenny is right when he reminds us her withdrawal statement did not "retract" none of what she had been expected to say. Now, had she done that, I would have been as quick to denounce her as others have.
Guest guest
One way of justice would be to repeal the law that allows them to advertise. Everyone remember a few years ago they couldn't advertise prescrip drugs on television. As soon as they did they got a huge power surge, not to mention all our drug bills went through the roof to pay for all the increased marketing. Take away advertising and you've largely held them back. But who's gonna make that bill with all the lobbyists breathing down their necks? Clearly it's gonna take someone will balls, and yes, even we women can grow them when neccessary... Debi
