Guest guest Posted September 26, 2007 Report Share Posted September 26, 2007 A number of months ago, I saw somewhere the notion that there’s a connection between the eyes and the satiety center in the brain, i.e. If you eat from a smaller plate you will feel full and satisfied, but if you eat a small amount from a regular sized dinner plate, you will not be satiated. To tell the truth I didn’t believe it, but decided to try it. It works! We have been eating dinner from salad sized plates for several months now. I wouldn’t have believed it if not for my personal experiment. The only time I now use regular sized dinner plates is for company or when I have having my lunchtime salad.
