A puzzling illness/ any ideas?

Just a quick update on my relative's illness. He is going to follow up on

some of our ideas.

Here's what he says: " And, thanks to your learned and wise friends¹

suggestions, we are running a few new tests ³just to rule out everything.²

Specifically, we are running two new tests for Lyme. And, we are checking

for heavy metal poisoning (e.g., cadmium). PlusŠa litany of other tests

that we have already done before, such as the C-reactive protein,

sedimentation rate, liver, etc.

Oh, and I also have an appointment this Friday to have my ³near abscess²

rechecked. " (This last sentence alludes to a dental appointment and the

" near abscess " was an offhand remark made by the dentist during his last

visit).

So thanks everyone. He is also feeling somewhat better for some unknown

reason during the last few days (the extra iron?) but still running a fever.
