Guest guest
For what it's worth, this mouse's experience is that given a steady caloric intake, I tend to lose weight more when I am not taking niacin, which I usually take at the 1-1.5 g level daily (crystalline, cheap nicotinic acid) as a TG depressor/HDL elevator. It might help people to maintain a given LBM at a continuing state of CR. Because of its asymptotic dose response, you get more than 50% of the benefits by taking 50% of the maximum reasonable daily dose of niacin (3 g/day).
