Water Reuse in prepacked veggies?

The above link relates to water reuse in sanitizing produce.

Also the FDA will soon require Irradiation of all the greens we eat.

The reason for this is the problems they had with spinach and some

other items a while back. This will effect the small farming

community. Sad to see it coming. It might well put small farms out of

business which will increase the prices of our produce.

I read recently that it is becoming harder on poorer families to eat

well because of the increase in prices of fresh produce.
