There are many distinct antioxidant compounds. It

is the catechins in tea that are affected by casein

in milk. Fruit contains other types of flavonoid

antioxidants, but not significant levels of catechins:

Now, with respect to tea, soy milk seems like a good

substitute for milk, because it doesn't contain

casein. However, I am not able to find any studies

indicating whether soy milk proteins can also block

the benefits of catechins. Any leads??
