milk and antioxidants

A friend asked me an interesting question last night. Given that the

addition of milk interferes with the absorption of the antioxidants in

tea, wouldn't the fact that she adds yogurt to her fruit smoothies

create the same problem? She's worried that she's not getting the

antioxidant benefit from the fruit because of the yogurt. Of course,

she would still get the vitamin and fiber benefits from the fruit.

Thanks,

Diane
