Guest guest
Whether it's a day surgery, spinal fusions, dental work, etc. everyone gets told " You'll be a little uncomfortable " when there'll end up being serious pain and " You'll be back to normal by monday " when you'll be out of commission for at least 10 days instead of 3. Disability or not sugeons always down play the true pain and recovery amounts. My Sister had two horrifying spinal surgeries in 1973 and 1976. My own spinal surgery I think I got off realitively lucky in comparrison. There was some failure in my fusion because my pelvis tipped and the curve badly sqaushed my abdomin which caused me to get knotted up my intestines this year. My bladder, bowel, and reproductive organs, have had lots of pain and problems because of my lower cure and I actually have a for real incomplete spinal cord injury. Still though I'm thankful I didn't have the agonizing life long back pain I've seen my friends go through.
