beneficial effects of GM soy?

Since we are talking about the benefits of soy, I wanted to mention a

documentary I watched on the Franco-German channel Arte called " Le

Monde Selon Monsanto " , or " The World According to Monsanto " about GMOs

and pesticides worldwide.

IMO, the documentary provided an insightful (although biased) view

against a firm which has dominated our world's food supply.
