I'm Going to be a Deputy HP Parking Inspector

I got my official appointment on my town disability commission.

They're deputizing me onto the HP Parking Patrol so I get to ticket

people illegally taking our parking spaces or blocking curb cuts and

lift spaces.

Here's the ironic part.

I can get a concealed hand gun permit as a deputy- {IF I wanted it}

More seriously though the money from HP violator parking fines goes to

funds to adapt public areas with wheelchair access and scholarships for

students with disabilities. The money can go towards local folks

needing a ramp on their home etc {ie a person newly disabled who needs

home modifications}.
