Guest guest
Hello all! I am new to the group. I am a mother to a 4 1/2 year old with type 2 SMA. She is getting too tall for her toddler bed and we are getting a full size bed, but are unsure of mattresses. She is fairly strong, but unable to fully roll - although she is wiggly in the bed. She has be currently sleeping on a firm crib mattress with a memory foam pad on top. I do not think that she medically needs any sort of alternating pressure mattress but I want to buy a good supportive and comfortable mattress for her to use. Our pediatrician suggested looking into natural latex mattresses as an alternative memory foam (which tends to be warm and not too breathable). Does anyone have suggestions about mattresses? Thanks for your input! Lucy
