What is the present health of the all the people who lived in the bioshere, and was its failure primarily due to the low O2 levels or just low amounts of food? In my search for info on this, I was emailed by a person in England who said that the two biosheres in Russia are still working with different crews and conditions and still testing diet, ((one is testing very low protein foods)), Any one have info on this?

thank you , Mike

From what I have read the biospherans (with the exception of Dr Walford) all returned to their previous eating habits. So after getting much healthier during the experiment, they reverted back to higher blood pressure, gained weight, and in general then followed the pattern of the typical person on a western, high calorie diet.

The only “failure” that I know of is a bit of squabbling among themselves due to irritability from hunger.
