The process for establishing the 2010 Dietary Guidelines for Americans

was kicked off last Thursday-Friday in Washington, D.C with the first

meeting of the 2010 DGAC (Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee).

You can view all the comments submitted to the DGAC on the USDA website

which has promised a completely transparent process in developing the

new guidelines.
