Everyone blowing their own horn

I just got this, as I'm sure of you did as well from CAN. I got a

very similar one from ASA, and Autism Speaks. It's so funny to watch

everyone trip over each other trying to take the credit here. Can't

they accept that without the kids and parents none of this would have

happened, even though it's what they called " better than nothing " .

" " Cure Autism Now initiated this community-wide advocacy effort and

was joined by several leading autism organizations. Together, we

formed a coalition to advance the Act by collaborating with

legislators and mobilizing families across the country to focus the

nation's attention on autism. Each and every family that signed a

petition, called their representative or emailed friends and relatives

to support this legislation should feel proud of this accomplishment.

Once again, we've witnessed the power of hope.
