Guest guest
From the data I've seen there does seem to be a positive effect of ADF eating schedules as opposed to " one meal a day schedules " that removes calorie restriction as a variable. One meal a day schedules seem to offer no advantages over CR on a multiple meal schedule other than the amount of CR involved. See (1) Also 1 meal/day schedules might be determintal if calories are not restricted. See the much recently discussed Mattson study. BUT most people will eat less (unless forced other wise, as done in the recent study) on a one meal a day schedule One the other hand, ADF schedules, with little or no CR have recently been shown to have a comparable effect on " cell proliferation " comparable to CR 25 or 30. See (2),(3, (4). Also there is data concerning ADF schedules that show highly positve resulte on oxidative and inflammatory markers (5) This recent research is under unappreciated on this group. I believe there is more to come from human studies in the works.
