Hi folks:

We have discussed organic foods here previously and not everyone is in

agreement as to whether they are desirable or not.

Here is a letter to Consumer Reports written by one of the world's

most eminent authorities on the subject. It was sent in response to

an article in the magazine. The letter is now quite dated but it does

explain, in a way that is easy to understand, some of the important

principles involved is assessing the risks of agricultural chemicals.
