Guest guest
I think it is necessary in some cases, eg, if I'm going to do a lot of work that day. Some people run out of gas quickly. 30 yrs ago, I ate 2 eggs blended in milk with sugar to get me past 2:30 PM. I was 185# and could easily lift 220# over my head one fell swoop. Now I don't pick up more than 200# nor > 100# over head. That particular day I was going shopping with my wife (2 yrs younger) who can easily cover 5 miles in 4 hrs. I've actually measured it with a pedometer. So that particular day I had egg whites, 4 oz lean steak, 3/4 cup hash browns and 2 pancakes with syrup (about half a trucker breakfast). A very large meal for me. That was my only meal that day. I eat there maybe 2 times/month usually not meats. So how many AU's was that meal? Regards [ ] Re: AGEs - browned foods? I am curious as to why you are eating steak for breakfast? Is this every morning? Pard me but IMO this is not the most nutritional breakfast choice one could make, and quite possibly may produce some harm? > > > I eat breakfast at a truck stop that serves a small steak > that is cooked with an iron on top. It's not seared, just changes color.
