Well, whether he's on the mend or going downhill I think it's good for folks to

send him a

nice " Get Well " card with a nice letter to him about how he's made a difference

in the lives

of our children.

I don't know where your confusion comes from, my note is unambiguous;

Steve Edelson, Rimland's associate has made it clear his condition is

stable. I have provided Steve's email address if you want to hear it

from the source. Steve also said in a phone message with me this

morning that Bernie would NOT appreciate receiving maudlin " sorry to

hear you're dying, we love you " cards.

I would think it would be fine, I know you would be appropriate about

it. But why don't you check with Steve Edelson, first?
