Who is this directed to? It's good when replying to include enough of what

you're responding to so that we know what you're referring to.

Thanks for your reply. I am currently trying to get an appointment with a

new doctor that does alternative medicine. He actually does have some different

treatments at the clinic for stress reduction.

I take Armour. 60% of my thyroid was removed years ago.

Thanks,

Hi,

You can learn about Adrenals with a good summary here:

http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/adrenals_thyroid.html

and the Thyroid with a good summary here:

http://www.livingnetwork.co.za/healingnetwork/thyroid_problems.html

It will give you some options of how to address them.

I believe they should be dealt with early in detox as they assist detox so

much.

Dr advises 1 grain of Armour several times in her programs.

If your adrenals are weak nothing else works, and if one gland is a problem

the other one becomes a problems too.

Hi, Can you please edit your posts?

When you click on " reply to group "

everything that was printed in that email..from the original poster and

all the replies.. and jibber jabber.. is posted too.

for those of us who get the Dr list in digest form.. it makes a

LOT of extra jibber jabber that we have to scroll down through. You

wouldnt imagine how much.

Thank you everyone for helping with this!

Joyce,

You can choose not to get the digest form. The option is deleting emails you

don't want each day.

We need the email that people are responding to or people start asking what they

are referring to. Those that are on daily emails may have deleted the previous

stuff they didn't want. - You can also delete what you don't want.

Dear ,

I have been to the MD doctor. Very, very few MD's have any grasp at all on

hypothyroidism. After I got my latest blood test it clearly stated on the report

" subclinical hypothyroid " . Guess what? My doc says come back in 6 months. Yea,

I'm shopping for a new doctor but there is no reason for me to put blind faith

into any of them.

Also you would save us a lot of scrolling to see what the poster is

referring to.

If you do as I have done - Snip all that's not relevant and place your

answer BELOW the relevant part of the post you are referring to.

Wouldn't that make sense?

This is not about hypothyroidism!!

Most of us reply to all emails by putting our reply at the top of the email.

What's below is relevant.

Otherwise we have to scroll down through hundreds of emails to try to find what

the email refers to - or look it up in the topic.

, thank you for the suggestion for editing posts.

Yes... all the poster needs to do is remove all the extra verbage, by

highlighting the extra and clicking delete, or highlighting the

important part of the message they are replying to and then copy and

paste it in the 'reply' email.

I dont think people quite understand how much extra is reposted when

they simply click on 'reply to group'

Everything that was shown on the screen is reposted as well as many

extra jibber.

There can be 12 to 24 inches of screen space to scroll through to

finally be able to read what the sender typed.

To simply click on delete... actually deletes the entire digest post,

not just one email.

LEO.. Hello Leo... do you have any suggestions for this?

thank you

I have the same problem and found that a mixed thyroid, adrenal glandular with

bladderwrack or kelp and tyrosine added works very well. We had an excellent

product in Canada called T-100, made by AOR. The government just banned it -

They don't want anything that takes the place of a drug! I believe it is still

available in the U.S.

Also, Herbal Healer Acadamy has a mixed Thyro glandular - available to people

in the U.S.

You may find some interesting information and a discussion of treatment options, including references and links to studies pertaining to hypothyroid as well as many other conditions on this webpage:

www.womentowomen.com/hypothyroidism

I have a (+) blood test for hypothyroid (low TSH) but no symptoms. Also, I am post-menopausal, which is quite a different situation from your own. That being said, I cannot offer much personal experience regarding effect of CR as I began (CR)ON only 7-8 months ago. Since then, however, I can report improved sleep patterns due to fewer hot flashes and other night-time auto-disturbances. Sleep disturbance was probably the only "menopausal" symptom I experienced that could potentially be attributed to thyroid.

As for me, I try to refrain from "treating blood tests" without a corroborating "whole being" clinical picture. I hope this is helpful.

Hypothyroidism has some of the following symptoms: hypotension, lowered pulse, metabolism is slower and thus can't gain weight, as well as other symptoms. All of the above mentioned hypothyroid symptoms also occur in CR to some extent. Childs. From: fskelton@...Date: Fri, 12 Jun 2009 07:43:44 -0400Subject: Re: [ ] Hypothyroidism

Why would make you think there is a similarity? One is an endocrine disorder/illness and the other is a conscious decision to eat nutritionally dense/low calorie food for better health! Perhaps if you could explain why you’re confused, the question might be easier to answer.

If you haven’t yet done so, read Dr W’s book “Beyond the 120 Year Diet”. Read all our files and links, If you’ve not yet done so. Those readings a requirement here before posting, and might clear up your questions

If you prefer to work with a local doctor, Crystal Nason maintains a list by

location in the United States and abroad of physicians who prescribe LDN and of

pharmacies that compound it. You can contact her at

angelindisguiseldn

Tell her that says hi if you do decide to contact her.

> We are currently using LDN for our daughter's crohns. I posted in December

that she was beginning LDN and I am happy to report she is doing well.

>

> My question today is who is on LDN for hypothyroidism and where do you get the

LDD prescribed from? The Drs. I called prescribe LDN for crohns and MS. My

husband would like to try it for his hypothyroidism and I would like to use it

because of all the cancer and heart disease in my family. Can someone please

reach out and let me know. I have looked at the LDN database and there are a

number of people using LDN for thyroid but I do not have a way to get in touch

with them personally it seems. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
