Guest guest
I’ve never heard of it. But there are many wonderful recipes in the “files” section of our site under “member’s recipes:. As for a specific recipe to promote longevity and CR, IMHO that’s a bunch of baloney. When they invent the longevity pill (which still seems to be a long time away), I might be more receptive to that concept. As I recall, it was called something like Live Forever Stew and had a lengthy list of ingredients, including cayenne, wheatgerm and ground beef or soy and many other items. Any assistance in locating this particular recipe would be welcome.
Guest guest
Thanks Francesca, Come to think of it, it was a recipe for chili, not stew. The name was definitely tongue in cheek, but it tasted wonderful, and the quantities of ingredients it called for made about a dozen servings you could stick in the freezer. Guest guest
Hi I think you are talking about Eternal Youth Chili, in Beyond the 120 Year Diet, by my father, Dr Roy Walford. It was one of his favorite. I'm pressed for time now, but will post the recipe for the files in November. I imagine that it would be especially good in winter, warms up the bones! -- Walford
Guest guest
Ah yes can be found on pg 323. Contains beef and steak but I guess one could modify it as vegetarian version as well. Or substitute chicken or soy. A very big welcome back to Roy’s daughter !
