Guest guest
Sent to me by a member/lurker and I’m posting with her permission: Francesca: Thank you for your posting (s). I just wanted to say that I support you, and what was said in your opposition is not based on knowledge of the food industry. I hold an MD MBA and have seen the inside to many major food suppliers through a job I held. People would be in shock at how bad it is and why the govt turns away. Again, the bottom line here with the food industry and the govt is the bottom line financially. When people start to feel they have a voice and can use it to help those who can not voice their own, social responsibility will start to be seen. Until then, I think we have to be happy with the very small steps made even though they are made not for the consumer's benefit but for really other reasons not disclosed to the public. Thanks again!
