The Mc stroller & the Philadelphia zoo

Hi all,

Just had to write to rave over the Mc stroller that we got for !

It arrived last Friday and our first chance to try it out was yesterday at the

Philadelphia zoo. DH is in CA so I took the kids to parents house (in

Swarthmore, where I grew up - for all of you Philadelphians). In spite of the

rain we went to the zoo Sunday morning. That stroller is great - loved

it, he wasn't able to drag his feet on the wheels (which he had done with bad

outcomes in a regular stroller), the top was waterproof, and the whole thing is

very easy to manuver. I am so happy about this because I thought that maybe we

had blown $500 bucks on something that he wouldn't want but he loved it!

There are some drawbacks - the foot rest and the top have to come off before

folding - so I guess that when we travel by plane the top (which is big) will

not be coming. The " shopping bag " that fits underneath only holds something

like 3lbs and it is very hard to get to!

Pat (who has applied for family leave starting in July and is really looking

forward to working with full time!)
