Guest guest
People here are confused with what the the science articles actually said it seems. It's simple. 6% of the ad lib die without any pathological lesions and most of them die at a YOUNG age. 30% of the CR group have no pathological lesions and most of them are the ones that live the 'very longest'. Equivalent to the super centenarians who seem to escape all diseases and just die of no obvious cause. (but these mice are equivalent of 140-160 human years I believe). Heres a screenshot from the talk to show you what is meant by this. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v141/whoa182/effectofcrondiseases.jpg Heres the VIDEO presentation you can watch by luigi explaining it. http://www.edmontonagingsymposium.com/files/eas/presentations /08-Luigi_Fontana.wmv copy paste link into windows media player or just save to pc and open.
