Guest guest
Hi everyone~ we are still here and we're NOT watching the 3 stooges hehe. Hard to believe but hubby is off on another long trip and jamie's off the wall with all the rain and the fireworks and stuff. Actually I think she may be getting a tooth~ Do they get new molars at 11 anybody know?? We finished up our homeschool eval so the school year is officially over and I'm already working on a new program. Been looking into the Sundberg-Partington method of ABA for verbal behavior. I'm also learning and teaching her sign which is fun. And we're doing some reeeeaaallly far out treatments using homeopathy and energy medicine. I've been working on food and diet since we got out of ICU 6 wks ago~ came up with a fairly tolerable 4 day rotation but again everything has to be blended. I finally treated myself to a vitamix because after 11 yrs of blending food (and looking like 11 more at least) I've had it. My sister says these things could blend a Christmas tree they're so powerful:) The GI doc (surprise surprise) doesn't know why she is still moaning so much. He advised trying slower feeds (sheesh) and says it will take longer than 6 wks for her stomach to heal. For me~ I was having a Paxil deficit but am feeling somewhat better. Not as depressed, just daily migraines. Thank God for Imetrex. Well, that's the news from Florida...I am followng all your adventures but am on digest for awhile. Love you all and Happy Fourth of July! Sherry, mom to DS/aut 11 yo
Guest guest
> >>Sundberg-Partington method of ABA for verbal behavio , Is this Mark Sundberg from here in California? If it is, when Garry and I took some spec ed courses before adopting, he was one of our teachers. Nice man. I wish I could have him assess my kids. & Garry, parents of (9 ds), (8 ds/g-tube), JJ (6 ds/autism/celiac), (5 ds), and Esther (3 ds). All adopted.
