Turning 68

Every year around this time I get my medical exam. Thus far, at age 68, I do

not take any medicines. My Blood tests show everything in the normal range. I

am still on a 2000 Cal diet and exercise 25 minutes daily. My weight has been

fairly steady for several years.

One thing that always motivates me to keep in good shape is posting my yearly

picture. Even though I am getting older, I would not like to look worse than

the previous year.

Here is this year's picture:

Tony and I live near each other and although we don’t get together nearly enough, I have seen him within the last year. He looks great in person too!!

I also had a recent birthday. Hate to admit it, but I turned 71. There are a couple of fairly recent pictures of me (and Diane) in the photos section of our site at:

http://tinyurl.com/3agcae2 and another at: club11/ also taken this summer. I’m in the center with a dark pink hat.

Having been a lurker on this list for years, I feel compelled to speak up in

behalf of two inspiring members. Francesca and , you both look great. I

hope that if I can maintain my willpower to stay on the program, I'll be as

healthy as you both 20 years from now.

Thanks for the continued inspiration. And Tony, thanks for the fabulous website

full of resources. You two probably don't realize it, but you make a difference

by your examples for us quiet people.
