Good science fiction makes us think.. and his bet, is probably as good as many others.I fear we may invest too much effort sometimes into living longer, and not enough into accomplishing something with the time we spend here. Heinlein certainly accomplished much with his writing, and left his footprints in the sand.. Thanks for the reference. We will return now to your normally scheduled program. JRPS: Sorry about the veer... I was trying to be humorous. On Jan 24, 2011, at 4:54 PM, Steve Sergeant wrote:

For all we know, someone might actually be doing this.

I think we all know a centenarian or two,my grandmother died in 2003 at 102

years old, she never smoked or drinked alcohol but never did much physical

exercise either (excluding house chores). She was in good shape and living alone

at 100 years.

I gave her some multivitamins to help her improve her nutrition and after she

died we found all the multis boxes hidden in the kitchen, she never took the

pills!!!
