get to do all the things the kids do at this camp (arts and crafts,

swimming, boating, sports, etc.), plus they bring in people for massages and

pedicures, we have guest speakers. None of it is mandatory. There's one

woman who goes with a book, disappears for hours at a time, appearing only

at mealtimes. I've been going for 5 years. Wouldn't miss it for anything.

Wow CK, that's right by me. I drive the length of Senaca at least once a

month. We live at one end and my daughter lives at the other! I'm going to

have to check this out!!!!

Wow, you're quick. You must have been on-line just as I wrote that.

It's run by the JCC in Brighton, NY, but you don't have to be a member, or

Jewish, to go. The camp is located on Seneca Lake (one of the Finger Lakes)

in upstate New York. If you're serious about this, you could try to give

All the contact information is on their web page (www.jccrochester.org),

which I sent earlier. If you haven't web access, let me know and I'll get

more information for you. The camp is called Camp Get-away.
