Can you believe this?? A friend who works for the school district told me

this. And it was said to her. The speech therapist was talking about how

cute Essie was. Then under her breath, but so it could be heard, she says

" so unlike her siblings " Of course she was referring to JJ and Tim who she

also sees. She can #$%@%^ & !

That is OK--I have her number. Garry and I plan on showing up for speech at

least one time a week, more if we can!! And she has not started started a

speech communication book yet. There will be one on Monday! We can make

her life a living heck.

And how do you teach kids that you don't even like?? My kids know who likes

them and who doesn't.

, in a slow burn

& Garry, parents of (10 ds), (8 ds/g-tube), JJ (6

ds/autism/celiac), (5 ds), and Esther (3 ds). All adopted.

Did your friend say anything to this speech therapist after her inappropriate

remark? I certainly hope she did!

And this is a " professional " ? LOL It hurts so much when you know someone

doesn't like your kid! Seth's summer aide was so obvious about it too. So

glad that -itch is gone! LOL I love the way you deal with things! LOL

Maybe I will observe, a lot, the areas in school that I don't like. Right

now everything is going good, I think! I really, really was hoping this

would be a great year for all our kids.

They don't. They just pretend to and place the blame for lack of progress

on the kids and their disabilities.

We've had that slp before....so nice to have her GONE.

Unbelievable. I would definitely talk to her...are you sure there isn't a

misunderstanding? Maybe she was referring to OTHER kids...??ine
