Guest guest
Naomi, thanks I saw that. I'm definitely considering that. I was wondering how it's so inexpensive. I've ordered products from Mountain Rose Herbs several times before so I'm not casting aspersions, but just curious. Great price.
Guest guest
, I don't know how they sell it so inexpensively. I've wondered that myself. I guess we could ask them, but I doubt they'd tell us. It's good too. Tastes a lot better than the expensive health food store stuff I've tried. Naomi Re: [ ] Re: Coconut Oil Naomi, thanks I saw that. I'm definitely considering that. Guest guest
If you go with Tropical Traditions coconut oil you might also check out their Baby Silk hand lotion and cream. Guest guest
Hi Caryn, Coconut oil begins to melt at around 75 degrees or so. No, it won't lose it's effectiveness in the liquid state. Some people prefer it that way. Personally I can't stand it when it's liquid though, so here in Missouri where I live, I refrigerate mine when we have warmer weather, so it stays solid. jackie > > I bought a jar of coconut oil (extra virgin, organic) and it was a > solid in the store...got home and in this Texas heat it had turned > into a liquid. Gone back and forth between keeping in the fridge and keeping on the shelf. I'd prefer it be like room temp butter. But, room temp in Texas means melting point for most everything. In the fridge it gets too hard to spoon out. That's what happens when products don't have emulsifiers (a combination of ingredients to keep the ingredients held together). I'm going to try an insulated container, with the coconut oil jar in it, placed in the fridge. Also, your butter storage in the fridge door is usually not as cold as the rest of the fridge (to keep butter soft).

Guest guest
I have found it easy to pour liquid CO into icecube trays. I vary the amount so that i have a vaiety of cubes to choose from. Once they are set (just minutes in the freezer) i pop them out and put them into a container in the freezer. I can just take out what I want to use. What is your name please? No, coconut oil, garlic and other natural antifungals do not have to be alternated or rotated. Candida does not become intolerant of natural sources of antifungals. Candida becomes intolerant of antifungal drugs because they are toxic/poisonous (except Nystatin) and candida feeds off of toxins, so such poisons make it grow more and also cause damage throughout the body. Whoever came up with the idea of rotating natural antifungals was probably selling them. That is just as nonsensical as rotating foods, and coconut oil is a food. Why be concerned if your bowels become dependant upon " good " oils and fats, when they are very important and necessary for good health, whether you have candida or not. Also " good " fats and oils go into constructing all of the body's cell membranes the way nature intended, so they strengthen the bowel, and they also help the bowels move properly. All cell membranes need to be constructed out of 50% saturated fat(lungs require 100%) in order to be healthy, otherwise they are weak. Guest guest
Bee, I was surprised when I read, " Whoever came up with the idea of rotating natural antifungals was probably selling them. That is just as nonsensical as rotating foods, and coconut oil is a food. " I have heard from close family members that they and/or their children have had cummlative food reactions and found that rotating their foods put an end to their problems. Plus, I think somebody wrote a book called the Rotation Diet and many have found relief. What is your take on this, please? Allergies are a very misunderstood subject by doctors and people alike. First, good unadulterated foods do not cause allergies or health problems. Our bodies are designed to use foods to keep healthy and for energy, and Mother Nature doesn't get it wrong. Second, sometime good unadulterated foods do cause healing reactions, which are misunderstood as allergic reactions. Healing reactions are NOT allergic reactions; they are very necessary processed the body needs to go through in order to heal. To understand more about allergies, and how false the antibody theory is (which tests are based in), etc. see these articles: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/heal11.php http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu4_1.php Also see articles about healing naturally: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/menu1_2.php The best, Bee

So, no don't keep it in the fridge. Do you mean coconut oil capsules; there isn't such a thing. If you want you can put coconut oil into large gelatin capsules if you don't like the feel of it, but having it is Bee's Raw Egg Drink and cooking with it is best. Here's the recipe: http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/recipes/recipe167.php Be careful to start on small amounts of coconut oil since it is antifungal, and only increase it gradually every 5-7 days to minimize die-off symptoms. Guest guest
Hi , Helpful info on the taste of coconut oils is in the Coconut Oil survey that I did awhile back (and just recently updated). It's in our group files and on Bee's website. http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/coconut5.php hth, jackie > > I know this subject has been done to death, but I remember reading some posts about a coconut oil that isn't too " coconuty " . I seem to have lost the posts, and when I tried to search for them, about 5,000 posts turned up. Can someone tell me the brand names of some good coconut oil? Mine is not very pleasant. I'm not a huge coconut fan. > > > >
Guest guest
, I use Tropical Traditions Gold Label and it smells and tastes about the same a Mt. Rose. It's actually getting harder and harder to take the smell and taste. I can't put it in foods as the essence lingers in the food and is starting to make me gag. I was using Tropical Traditions " Expeller-Pressed " (it has a white label) From reading the survery Jackie sent you, it is okay b/c no solvents are used during the process. This " Expeller-Pressed " had hardly any aroma or taste. (I wish I would have stuck with it instead of the " Gold Label " ) Amy

Guest guest
Hi Nithya, Did you know you can start the diet without having all the supplements? The only things that absolutely *need* to be taken together are calcium and magnesium. Everything else you can add as they arrive. I had this same problem in the beginning as well ... waiting for all those dang supplements to arrive. But Bee said to go ahead and start anyway. You can start now by cutting out the forbidden foods and start eating the right foods. Gradually, you can add the supplements as they arrive and you will find you will quickly get the hang of everything. Pretty soon you won't be obsessing about all this stuff anymore and can focus on your studies. Good luck! (also studying at uni and managing a household) > > Hi , > > I know I should really get sarted but has just been hard for me to > find all the products and since most of them I can't find at the > shops I have order them in and it is going to take a while for them > to be delivered to my house, this is delying it so much. I just can't wait till > I have all of the products and can get started!!! *** Dear Nithya: One of the beautiful things about this program is that taking any one of the steps (diet, supplements, cutting out sugar, adding in good fats) can help you heal. Why don't you just focus on cutting out sugar (since this will not cost you money) and adding the egg drink to your daily food intake. (Taking care to take it slow with the coconut oil) This is a huge step because by doing this you stop feeding the candida, and you are adding in good fats, excellent nutrition, and an anti-fungal. After a few weeks, see if you can add in taking sea salt daily in the electrolyte drink. I am concerned that you are getting obsessed without taking any action. That is a never ending road and I wouldn't be surprised if you find that once you've been doing these two steps for a while, a couple of months, that you will find that your thinking becomes easier. Hormonal imbalances can be caused by a lack of good oils, and it seriously affects mood and thinking patterns... I speak from experience. Once I started feeding my thyroid and adrenal system with good oils and an absence of sugar (which was running both systems into the ground) my mood became happier, my perception of stress changed, and I became less rigid in my thinking and less prone to anger. That is my personal experience. I hope you will get started and see if just those two steps can free you from the grip of obsessive thinking. If you do the above steps, your shopping list is: 1.)The best eggs you can afford (even regular eggs will help, maybe you can mix pasture eggs with the best commercial eggs you can find so that you can stretch your budget.) 2.) Coconut oil (starting off with 1 teaspoon or less per drink) 3.) Unsalted Butter ( the best you can afford... but butter in any form will help) 4.) spices (clove, cinnamon, ginger--all have medicinal properties as well) 5.) Stevia ( a little container will last you for months) Later you will buy sea salt and lemons. Use what water you can, if you can afford a pitcher filter, get one, if not, that's okay. You can do that later. I hope this is helpful to you. Marissa
Guest guest
Dear Nithya, Marissa's post is fantastic. Do this. The way your mind's going at the moment is part of your illness and it will go away. Every moment you're preparing for this is a moment your not being active in it. So do one small thing at a time. Make it part of your routine and when that's becomes automatic, add in another thing. I can totally relate to how overwhelming it all is and how you think it all needs to be perfect before you can begin. I think most on this list would say that going slow and doing things in stages was the best route to take. This week, personally, I'm going to give up wheat, dairy and sugar. Add a breakfast drink to my regime and take my supplements when I remember. That's it. That's all I can manage for now. Good luck to you. You have youth in your favor and really only yourself to look after so you're ahead of the game already. :~) On 20-Sep-08, at 9:09 AM, bonemilk27 wrote: > > > > I know I should really get sarted but has just been hard for me to > > find all the products and since most of them I can't find at the > > shops I have order them in and it is going to take a while for them > > to be delivered to my house, this is delying it so much. > I am neglecting > > my studies and other aspects of my life because I am getting so > > obsessed with getting everything that I need.
