Dorcus, That is so fantastic. Thanks for sharing that. I have a seven year

old with Asperger's and we are using the enzymes also. I can really relate

at how proud you must be of him being able to sit in a service and enjoy the

music. We are getting better but are not there yet. And out skating with his

dad. That is super!!! I am so thankful thay I found this board this summer

because the enzymes are really helping my son. I am glad you are seeing

results too!!! DonnaC

toxicity. Is the improvements dramatic with each cycle? I have been

chelating my son with DAMS/ALA for 3 months and the improvements has

been dramatic, is this the normal process? My son's speech has moved

from 2 year level to 3 1/2 years in 3 months. I look at my son 3 1/2

year old son with tears in my eyes as he return home. Thanks to all

of you for all the excellent information.

This kind of dramatic improvement in children this young is common.

If you want to know what LDN is doing for you do this simple little test If you are at all like me I promise no permanent harm will come of it.

Take your LDN for a year,Remember we are only asking LDN to do what Copax or Rebif was supposed to do but never did very well in my books as far as others have testified to.

Then stop taking it for a week if you can stand too..

The return of symptoms in my case were just enuf too prove to me that it sure was doing it's job.

When I read how the Nueros say "well obviously the (one of the CRAB's) has stopped working for you so lets try something else" I wonder just what goes thru their mind (or their wallet)when they are prescribing one of these drugs!

They obviously know of the side effects,as that is their job, they probably know of the cost incurred as they get their cut in the form of bogus training or consulting payments.

OK I will stop now.

Reg, I truly think you have written a very sensible letter. yes, When you injection stops working, and i think mune has, been o it for 11 years, it is time to try something else, but nit, as you say one of their expensive new drugs. i am sick of rug companys making millioms off thebacks of MS and other sufferers. This pat spring, my husband almost died from lipitor. his kidneys shut downand he was in intensive care for three weeks. The doctor missed all the warnig signs, mainly pain in the nuscles. it is called rhabdomyolitis. The muscles break down. here it is dec. and he is stil in pain, he was healthy and active, with no pain until this. if you know anyone on this drug, please urge them to get their blood checj=ked at least every two months, his barber gets his checked every ,month. The drug companys are making a fortune and seem to be untpuchable if you complain. What do you think??? roxanne

How many of you out there had stiffness at first and sleep disturbances

and how long did it take to go away? Or did it go away?

Realize its very individual but would appreciate some thoughts.

I am stiffer than normal (day 7 on LDN - 3mg) although it is very very

very very cold here which makes me stiff anyways. Will stay at 3mg for

awhile (any suggestions how long?) 4.5 is the suggested dose so will

try to reach that level.

This has been discussed lots in past posts but I didnt save any of them

and my memory is non existant.

Thanks for anyones suggestions.

Hi Kathy,

As for stiffness..still have it after almost a year, tho' not too bad. Soo,

I stretch some, and exercise some. Had the vivid dreams for a couple

of weeks at first, but then I don't remember having "Any" dreams for

quite awhile before that. (Kinda miss the vivid dreams now!)

As far as when to up the dose, it's really up to you and how well your

body will tolerate it. Personally, I was on 3mg for a month, then went

up to 4.5mg and have been on it ever since. Just my 2cents worth.

Hope it helps some. Have a Great Day!!!

Thanks Jim...that helps lots. Was thinking I'd stay on 3mg for a month

and stretching always helps. If I'm having vivid dreams...dont

remember them, but that would be a bonus :).

Kathy,

I am taking 4.5mgs LDN. I started on this dosage about 48 days ago. I stopped oral steroids a few days before starting LDN. The results have been wonderful. I am so very much better. I did experience stiffness and vivid dreams for about the first two weeks. I was not clear about the stiffness being LDN or the result of steroid addiction?

The dreams and the stiffness are gone and for the first time in 12 years I am getting better and better. The quality of my life has turned around. I am looking forward to gardening and living the small stuff maybe even going back to work. (LDN gives me bladder control, clarity of thought, less leg and arm spasms are reduced, I am standing and working around the house for longer periods of time, sitting longer and typing better, hand writing has improved, these improvements have effected everyday life in a very positive manner.)

As of last week I was and still I am experiencing some nausea from time to time it is livable compared to what my life was like before LDN. But not pleasant.

May the white light of heaven shine on all of you today and send you blessings this holiday season. CU Joanne L.

Hi,

i had stiffness for 87 days. Now I occasionally have trouble sleeping

but I don,t place that on LDN. I just started CS 2 days ago and this

morning my legs were very stiff. I'm sure it's because of the

cleaning results from the CS

Thank you so much Joanne for your encouragement and experience and so

very happy it is working so well for you!

Today is a very bad day for stiffness but I slept better last night.

Still woke up frequently but fell back to sleep easier (considering I

napped yesterday that is terrific!). I think the bladder is slowly

improving. So many of you on this forum have had such positive

experiences that I can only hope and pray that this will be the case

with me.

I too was an avid gardener so hopefully will be able to enjoy that

once again. Nausea is a common thing with MS and I get that even

without the LDN but like you, it is manageable.

Blessings to all this holiday season.

Kathy,

Yes I understand the MS nausea thing I also take 30 milligrams prvisaid but this nausea is different. It happens fast and goes away fast could also be menipause. I am 48 and many things are due to that they the PCP says anyway.

Today was a day of stiffness for me also I am in NH and we had snow yesterday that melted today. Moisture is stiffening I think!

Kathy I hope LDN help you with bladder control I know first hand how very important it is.

Blessings to you Kathy and eveyone Joanne L

Vit C is good I know, guys don't get UTIs much if at all, but I still think the reason I never have one is from the large amounts of "C"I take daily.Plus the liter and a half of water daily doesn't hurt.Reg
