Guest guest
I agree with Gretchen that Elavil (amitriptyline) works fantastic with the pain. It also helped me sleep at night. However, for me I had to stop taking it because I had MAJOR weight gain due to the Elavil. Some have this side affect and some don't. And it helps my balance. I tried Neurontin for 1 year. Just quit taking it. Very expensive, had to keep taking it through the day ( what a pain) and also, while in SOME cases it does help with nerve pain, recently I found some negative articles which made me think about quitting it. Neither one knocks me out. I have also taken Robaxin this year. Good for muscle relaxant. You can drive on Robaxin too. It won't knock you out. Tylenol Extra Strength Gel Caps work well for me too. I have taken Anaprox for years and quit taking it, but it worked for awhile. >>
