Elie and his new school

Wasn't Elie supposed to be starting at the Camphill school this week?

I've been looking for an update from you and wondering how he is doing. Just

wanted to let you know you are in my thoughts and I hope the new school is a

success so far.

Elie went for his interview visit today. We took him at 10:15 which is the

break time at the school. We were then told to leave so that he could

adjust to his " group " . Well, when he realized we had left, he went to look

for the car! Then he was very loathe to walk back up the quite steep hill

to the school. He sat half way up for an hour. He finally joined them for

lunch but was very glum. When we came back after 3 hours, we were told that

he was too high maitenance for them, and so depressed. then Elie so me, and

became the alert smiling kid who could talk.

So now the committee will meet to decide if they will give him a 2 week

trial. I talked to the SD about paying for a 2 week trial IF they decide to

accept him.

So we are still on hold. And Elie is taking huge (for him) amounts of

Risperdal to make the school he attends happy. No win there.

I am still looking at other options.

good interview at the new prospective school!!! I will share my couGH SYRUP

wine with you, although its going fast..hehe i have no educational words of

wisdom, but i can offer sympathy, empathy, prayers, sparkle and a shoulder. i

know you probably feel like your in a rut, but something else will come

about.... it just sucks the life outta you waiting...... hang in there, take

care, and i will say lots of prayers for you... leah
