Guest guest
Hi ! I was on the Betaseron for only 22 months...during the last 6 - 7 months on it, the flu-like symptoms increased from feeling really lousy every other day to every day. Site reactions started happening, redness at first, followed by black & blue spots at injection site and was starting to be very painful to touch. I ran out of betaseron about a month prior to starting on ldn. The flu-like symptoms only took about 3-4 days to go away. (if memory serves me correctly) Strange but, (sarcastic) all the depression (associated with the betaseron) seemed to go away as well. As far as how I felt once starting on the ldn. day1 fantastic day2 pretty good day3 ok day4 Lord, I've got MS, someone please shoot me. day5 ok, by afternoon pretty good. day6 up and including today, I've leveled off to around pretty good and some days better and some days a little worse. I still have some days that kick my tail, but all in all, my "worst" days on the ldn are far better than my "best" days on the betaseron. Just my 2cents worth. Hope it helps. Guest guest
, Sorry but forgot to mention, this coming Friday will be one year on LDN. If I'd known about this stupid little pill when I was first diagnosed, who knows, I might have still been working, and then...maybe not! Tell your husband "Good luck" and I hope this (ldn) works as well for him as it is working for me. Jim
Guest guest
When I stopped the Rebif, all bad symptoms stopped the same week. I still have some knots at the injection sites . I was only on Rebif for 1 and 1/2 yrs. I am now on LDN for the same amount of time and people are amazed at the difference. It is not that the LDN gave me such great symptom relief but I believe that the Rebif gave me such horrible side effects that merely stopping it made a difference in the way I feet. The LDN has kept me stable , energetic, and happy!

Guest guest
I can say that the depression disappeared right away and the extreme weakness in about 48 hours, if I remember well. I never had problems with the injection sites. Guest guest
Hi Mchelle, My side affects, flu symptoms and pain improved very rapidly. my balance is still bad, but i amhoping the higher dose will help that, my doctor thinks it will. Hope i can tolerate the higher dose. Guest guest
jsgarvin, Sounds like my reaction almost to a tee, Bless us all. the injections are nasty drugs, and i think they are worse since they changed , the prefilled syringe. I think they changed the PH balance. My neuro put me on half a dose after i complained, and i had been on it for 11 uears, notice i said 'had"?. Roxanne Merry Christmas and a healthey new year Re: [low dose naltrexone] Ex Interferon 1b users Hi !
