It's lemon-flavored, so the taste isn't too awful. I was advised to take 1 tsp. for every 40-50 pounds of weight, so I take a tablespoon every day. The breakdown per tablespoon is: Vitamin A-3300 I.U.; Vitamin D-1200 I.U.; Vitamin E-30 I.U. (Dr. Mercola also recommends taking an additional 400 I.U. of E with the cod liver oil); 3300 mg-Omega-3 Fatty Acids including DHA, EPA, ALA.
