I am never depressed never was even before LDN .

So I never related depression to MS.

I cannot believe the docs did not know/tell you that depression is definitely a side effect of some of the ABCR drugs (all but Copaxone, I think). I thought everyone knew this. ly, I don't think most of them have or make the time to read anything about drugs, other than what the drug reps tell them.

Sure, depression can go with MS, but not necessarily. I really haven't had any at all.

I never go to my doctor now, without hauling along a copy of "Worst Pills, Best Pills" or another pill look-up book, so I can look it up and read before I accept the Rx. They're a bit disconcerted at first but they are used to me now.

Reg,

This is not easy to admit but I was very depressed to the point of "no return" depression.

I am much happier on LDN. For the past eight months before LDN I was on some form of steriod IVS or oral form.

In the year 2001 I stopped working outside the home. This has been a difficlt time for me in Febuary 2004 I was dx with MS at the Lahey Clinic and in 1995 I was also told there was a possibility of MS. I have been dealing with symtoms for at least 14 years. I am not crying about this I am saying that I am very grateful to have found LDN. My husband found it here on the internet and my Neuro was kind enough to proscribe it. Thanks to all of you. I have found my best help to date. Thanks so much to all. Never dought the good your work here brings. God Bless have a great day to all. keep sharing! Joanne L.

The only time I was depressed was immediately before a flare up. It was always the first symptom of an exacerbation. Of course the doctors all believe that depression is an emotional response to the disease. In my case I find it to be just another symptom, like numbness or weakness, and not an emotional reaction to my situation.

Never used the CRABS, so I can't comment on their effect on depression.
