I had to take one they gave me, then go in to my account, and then switch it to the one I wanted. The one they gave me was something ridiculous, like plumfish8 or something. Like I'd remember that one better than my own???? LOL Donna
Guest guest
Hi everyone, I hope this will help some of you who are haivng troubles with this. If you go to the old web address for egroups on this page you see the explination for how took over egroups. all the way down at the bottom ( they are assuming that you will have read through all thier garbledy gook ) you will a highlighted sentencing that says " Link my egroups account to a account " . If you click on this you will go to a page which you will see empty fields asking you your email address and password. all you have to do is type in the email address you used with egroups to register or the email address you get your list emails to which should be one and the same. then the same password you used with egroups. It does not matter that you have never registered with before, this will convert your old account over to . Another way you can do this is if you already have registered with in the past, which I had you can type in your account address and your password and it links them together. you have to go thru this process to get it finished. after that you can just go to http:// and it takes you to the groups list. you may have to sing on before you see your groups listed but they should all be there. hope that helped some. Just trying to help
